Hi everyone my name is Kulwinder Mangrha. I am from India. I finished my high school in my country but i did not get the chance to complete my college. I came to the United States 12 years ago , here I live with my husband and kids but now I got the chance to fulfill my dreams to complete college. As a mother it is very hard to me to do it so many thing at a one time but I am trying my best. English is my second language so it makes things harder for me when I’m doing my college work.

Hello Everyone, My name is Octazea Robinson I am 18 years old and I just graduated high school earlier this year. Being in online school was very hectic at first since I never had any online classes before and it is much easier for me to learn face to face. I would like to become a veterinarian because of my love for animals so I decided that I was take part in the veterinary technology course . Hello!

My name is Jafari Daines. I’m 20 years old & I’m currently a sophomore at LAGCC where I’m majoring in writing & literature. Sadly, this is my third attempt taking this course due to the first time me not wanting write the final paper, the second time, me caught up in my schedule because I’m a first responder and then corona broke out.

I’m back on board, so things will now run smooth. I love to read, write, and watch movies all day, everyday. I’m currently writing a book and will soon be done in December. I aspire to be a screenwriter for Hollywood.

I once lived in Los Angeles, I hated it.

Hello , My name is Karlline Delacruz

     I am a freshman here at LaGuardia CC and I am very excited to embark on this new educational journey with everyone here at CUNY. I’m also a mother of two boys ages ten and seven we are from Brooklyn. This year will be very challenging since all three of us are going to be learning virtually. As we all face these difficult times of uncertainty one thing that I believe is in the certainty of education and opportunity to grow. I do hope that the circumstances change and allow us to be in a class room setting together as I believe that this is more beneficial to students. I’m not tech savvy but I am up for the challenge.   My name is Jiaqi Gao. I’m glad to be a student in this class. Although we are facing tough times together now, I am really excited to study with everyone. It has been two years since I came to the United States. I live here with my family. I like traveling, eating, and sports. I am a humorous person, like to make friends and share some interesting things with friends. I enjoy my life, so I often do some outdoor sports or shopping in my spare time to release my pressure. Of course, I also have a part-time job in New Jersey. Learning a second language is a big challenge for me, but I am confident that I will finish it. I also hope that I can learn from each other and make greater progress in this semester!

Hi my name is Cinthia Duche. I am a freshman at LaGuardia and plan to major in Criminal Justice.  I am 17 years old about to turn 18 in just a few days.  I love to travel around the world, my favorite places so far have been Switzerland and France.  Even in NYC I love finding new places to visit or new restaurants to eat. I’m a little disappointing to start my first year of college online but hopefully we can go back soon.
