Hello my name is Alfonso Vazquez im 23 years old, majoring in psychology. i live in New York City my whole life. My goal is to be a mental health counselor when I transferred to a 4 year college. I have been working as a Youth Advocate for 3 year, i enjoy working with kids and my job was the reason why i want to study as a mental health Couselor to help kids that might need an extra push.

My name is Enako Hori, but I go by Maya. You can call me whichever you like:) I was born in Japan and moved to California when I was twelve, and I came to New York about a year and half ago. I’m a new student at LaGuardia and my major in computer science because I love technologies and I would love to learn programming and other technical skills. I’m excited to learn a lot of new things as well even though I’m a little disappointed that I don’t get to meet new people at least for the first semester. Nice to meet you guys, I’d love to meet everyone once we start having in-person classes:)

Hello, my name is Jessica currently my second semester in college. I am a freelance makeup artist due to this pandemic, I currently work as a manager for my parent’s restaurant in Westchester county. I currently moved to Queens with my nephew and my chihuahua. I want to become a registered nurse since my brother deceased one year ago being in the hospital and seeing the nurses really work hard and helping others really made me want to learn more on how to become a nurse and everything there is to know, I am a bit shy but hopefully, we have a great year with these online classes.

Hello :), my name is Jason Hernandez and I major in Criminal Justice and this is my first year of college. I am currently 17 years old because I graduated from high school early because I skipped a grade entirely. I chose to major in Criminal Justice because it has always been fascinating to me and shows the legal aspect of how the world works. Currently, I am a very shy person but I really do love meeting new people. once you break the barrier I am a really fun person to be around. I love fashion and music if you ever see me on campus whenever that is you can see why. Other than that, I am just really excited and look forward to anything.

Hello again my name is Bryan Moreno!

Thought I’d actually repost my introduction since I didn’t post it in the right place haha

I’m not sure what year I am. I’m pretty sure I’m a sophomore… the TL;DR is I dropped out of college on first year in City College but I’M BACK! And this time I’m so ready to learn and take my education seriously! A few things to know about me are, I’m a musician! I main on the drums and I’ve played every genre you’ve ever heard of but I also write music using my handy guitar and bass. This is where I would shamelessly self promote my bands stuff but I’d rather you ask me about it directly if that’s something you are interested in learning about yourself haha. I’m excited to restart my journey, especially that it’s online! I think it’ll encourage me by giving me a gradual introduction to class workload minus the commute and social pressures! I hope that everyone finds something positive in the experiences we are confined in too.
