Hello everyone! My name is Yingxin Tan. I have been in New York city for 2 years. I am a girl who like to stay at home when I don’t need to work. My hobbies are drawing and reading novels. Before this semester I had a part-time job that helped some kids who born in the USA learn Chinese. This is a very meaningful experience. I think we learned and grew from each other. Because of the coronavirus, I need to saty at home. Everyday, I miss hot pot, sushi and juice. This moment is no exception. Finally, I know that study a new language is not easy, so I am very excited to join this class. My spoken English are the biggest challenge at this stage. I hope I can try my best to study and learn something what my classmates are good at.

I am from Nepal then I like to travel and meet people for friendship. my major is dental hygiene. I chose this subject because I like to play dental instrument and help patient. I really want to improve my English writing and speaking skill.

Hey Yingxin, my name is Hanif, I wanted to say I wish you luck in your pursuit of mastering a second language. Being able to communicate and ask questions to someone who is a native speaker really speeds up the time it takes to improve your speaking skills. I hope you don’t have too much of a hard time improving your English while we have to take online classes instead of in person ones.
