Hey everyone my name is Alejandra, I’m 28 , born and raised in queens, both my parents are colombian. My major is psychology, this will be my second year at LGA, I love LOVE to travel , experience different cultures , learn and try all the food lol that’s the best part! Super into music of all kinds, huge crime junkie. Very family oriented because I come from a big tight knit family. I work in healthcare, definitely a people person, which is why remote learning has been hard for me, I love the class room Dynamics and Interactions but I trust this semester will be a great one! My name is Korhan Kevin Tukaci. I was born in south of Turkey and grew up in Istanbul. After I graduate from a college in turkey, I moved to London to learn culture and language in 2010. After two years in london, I moved straight to New York in order to gain my master degree.
I had to stop my education in 2014 and had a partnership experience at one of the restaurant in Astoria untill 2017. I have been in hospitality business and work as a bartender for ten years and I love what I do. However, I never lost my passion on engineering or never give up on my goals. finally after all obstacles and different industry experiences I decided to finish what I started long time ago.

All About Alexis
Hello All! My name is Alexis, I’m a 30 year old (90’s baby!) mother of a 6 year old boy. Born and raised in Astoria, Queens (I’m still surprised at how much it’s changed over the last 20 years). I’ve had a lot of career changes over the past 10 years, I’ve worked everything from retail, cosmetology, education, to even being a clown’s assistant. I’ve finally decided to return to what I set out to do 11 years ago and finish my college degree for Nursing, God willing , that I get into the program! My mother’s side (whom is from the Philippines) are very happy for me.
I’m usually hanging out at home (especially now) playing video games with my son, watching Netflix or listening to the Hamilton soundtrack for the 999,999 time. We go to our local Farmer’s Market every Saturday and I love trying new recipes with fresh produce. If I have any free time this semester, I also would like to learn how to make digital art!

Hi, my name is Khitam and this is my second year in this college. I am majoring in early childhood education and planning to become a teacher. Since I was little, I remember growing up holding chalk and wear glasses and lifting my hair up so I don’t get distracted when I grade some random papers that I see anywhere. Bringing a chair and table and sits there with my cup of water pretending that it’s a coffee. As I got older, my passion for writing and teaching others became my interest.
